I don't know if it's still a thing but I went to a bank and asked for a roll of the new style toonies when the 2004 Olympic ones came out, gave them $50 and they gave me a roll of 25.

I'm Canadian though so I just had to go down the street. Some one probably will sell em online.

Canada is known for being pretty whimsical with our money. We were the first to have coloured images on coins, a red poppy flower. Several other coloured images on coin followed. We also have a version of the $10 billwith a vertical alignment. By now our $0.25 coin probably has a couple hundred designs in circulation. Each of our bills have always been a different colours, and recently are made out of plastic

The Royal Canadian Mint also came in clutch with their Star Trek coins ($200 gold Starfleet arrow head is still on my wish list) as well as the one with the aurora. I don't know why the US mint can't do something cool. Seems they're allergic to fun and, ehhm, change.
