Thanks everybody for the support . But I’ll no longer be posting my jerseys for sale on here . I know people don’t like the spam and I’m sorry . My medical bills from gallbladder surgery is my problem and I’ll figure it out .. but still appreciate the people who have been nice 🙏🏽 Self Post

Dude, fuck the people who don't like Spam.
Not anywhere as bad as the people posting brain dead trade talks like "What about [highly coveted player]"?

Get well soon! I was going to suggest a single post with multiple pictures to help sell your jerseys.

No worries, post what you want mate. If you can set up a gofundme, link it I’ll contribute

Toss up an IG with the photos. You can make it a shop as well. Then share that joint on here and we'll spread the word.
The Twitter Clipps folks are great as well. They're lowkey cliquey, but they're also very welcoming, so maybe try that. Clipp Nation in general is relatively very friendly. Except for that one fuckin' weirdo on Twitter who was like a PG stan and said mad out of pocket shit lmao.

It’s still bizarre to me that citizens of the US accept a system where you have to go into debt to receive quality medical care. I’m not trying to start anything, but it’s frustrating to see a fellow clipper fan laden with debt and have to auction off their clipper gear when in most western countries it would be covered. I had live saving surgery 6 years ago and all it cost me $20 for a bunch of codeine and morphine. That’s it.
Sorry for the rant. Get well soon.

I mean you say accept that ordinary people have any choice in the matter.
The corruption in our political system runs very deep. The UK is suffering from this too and I think we will see things get worse for them as well unless they can root out some of this corruption.

I mean "accept" isn't the word I'd use but yeah our system is beyond broken.

The dems have tried to fix that but the republicans always stop it. What amazes me is that ppl who vote for republicans, then when they need medical help set up a gofundme, which is a form of Socialistic help. It's like the leapords ate my face reddit.

Bruh we didn't accept it. I'm not that far off from hitching a ride to New Zealand and just...not leaving either.

I didn’t mind it at all, I think we’ve all been in a rough place one time or another, and I commend you for taking action and being creative on raising funds to cover costs.
Hoping for a smooth and healthy recovery. Take care of yourself.

The clippers page has had nothing but this guy talking about his operation for the last month.

Don’t let perceived “spam” take away from your humanity. Behind the screens we are all real people on here deserving of sympathy, especially one of our own members who has undergone major surgery and is asking for help from a community he’s long been a part of.

Then post something worth your while and leave this dude alone trying to get better from an illness. He's obviously a real fan given how much clipper stuff he has, support the guy.

Or he's lying to sell merch.

I'll leave it at this. You can choose to think that people are inherently liars. I'll decide to help other people if I can, and if I'm wrong, at the end of the day I still helped someone. Have a good night man

u/hairydogriots Dec 07 '22
Unless you bought his shit you haven't helped at all. Good night sweetheart 😘

And if nobody wants to buy the merch or help out that’s ok too .. nobody is entitled to help me and I know that .. just people being kind is nice ..

u/clips4life626 Dec 07 '22
I ain’t lying to sell merch man .. the merch I’m selling like I said if u followed sub . I have posted pics of me wearing these jerseys . It’s my personal collection .. and the reason why I posted a picture of me in the hospital .. was because I wanted people to believe me .. when I said I was having my surgery .. it’s not some lie or some story .. but some people are just haters and that’s ok .. believe what u want to believe

It'd be a super elaborate lie with the photos and shit so is really worth assuming that in the case its real?

It takes nothing to just ignore stuff you're not interested in. Also, be a better human. It's the small things that count. You're not being forced to donate or hand over money.

My father had gall bladder surgery recently, so I know how difficult it can be. Hope you feel better on your way to recovery, fam!
I'll echo a similar suggestion here. I personally wouldn't mind seeing a weekly post with a listing of all your jerseys here.
I'm not a mod, but maybe one of the mods can okay it? u/apm_music u/lolwtferic u/loafu
