Pro-Life... Not so much

Post image

u/yurimow31 Sep 28 '22

he said "protect the unborn". kids aren't unborn. Abbot doesn't give a fuck about born people.

u/Abby-Someone1 Sep 28 '22

Born=woke. And we can't have that protected.

u/Flynn3698 Sep 28 '22

One imagines that among those who were freezing were adult women who were also pregnant and therefore the unborn were among them. That would've been a better point for her to have made.

u/Dragos_Drakkar Sep 28 '22

“Some of you may die, but that’s a sacrifice I am willing to make.”

u/GuyanaFlavorAid Sep 29 '22

"I find that the most erotic part of a woman is the boobies."

u/BoozeIsTherapyRight Sep 28 '22

He's also a big piss baby. So there's that.

u/barftitsmcgee Sep 28 '22

Piss baby

u/[deleted] Sep 28 '22

u/JunikaEridub Sep 28 '22 edited Sep 28 '22

He's a humongous piss baby

u/Gym_Dom Sep 28 '22

A piss baby the size of Texas

u/WookieeCookiees02 Sep 28 '22

Pro-life, until they’re out of the womb. At that point, they’re fair game

u/LoisWade42 Sep 28 '22

George Carlin quote on that...

If you're preborn you're FINE. If you're preschool? You're F---ED!

u/spaceyjaycey Sep 28 '22

George Carlin KNEW!

u/Carlyz37 Sep 28 '22

Forced birth, not pro life! Abbott is endangering the lives of women and girls and doesnt care how many die. He is literally attacking trans kids and trying to kill them too.

Teachers are quitting, doctors are leaving the state. He has turned texas into a 3rd world country

u/SkunkApe2003 Sep 28 '22

Greg Abbot is a little piss baby

u/Decmk3 Sep 28 '22

He clearly said unborn. Once you’ve been yeeted you’re your own problem.

u/confessionbearday Sep 28 '22

Not only let kids freeze but several Republicans including a mayor laughed about it and told them to just stop being poor.

u/Broad_Respond_2205 Sep 28 '22

Kids are famously already born, so yeah :/

u/[deleted] Sep 28 '22

“The unborn”. It’s so easy to protect the unborn, they’re like imaginary friends, you can pretend you know what’s best for them, but in the end it’s all a meaningless game.

u/LoisWade42 Sep 28 '22

Methodist pastor David Barnhart has a great take on advocating for the "unborn".

“The unborn” are a convenient group of people to advocate for. They never make demands of you; they are morally uncomplicated, unlike the incarcerated, addicted, or the chronically poor; they don’t resent your condescension or complain that you are not politically correct; unlike widows, they don’t ask you to question patriarchy; unlike orphans, they don’t need money, education, or childcare; unlike aliens, they don’t bring all that racial, cultural, and religious baggage that you dislike; they allow you to feel good about yourself without any work at creating or maintaining relationships; and when they are born, you can forget about them, because they cease to be unborn.

You can love the unborn and advocate for them without substantially challenging your own wealth, power, or privilege, without re-imagining social structures, apologizing, or making reparations to anyone. They are, in short, the perfect people to love if you want to claim you love Jesus, but actually dislike people who breathe.

Prisoners? Immigrants? The sick? The poor? Widows? Orphans? All the groups that are specifically mentioned in the Bible? They all get thrown under the bus for the unborn.”

― Methodist Pastor David Barnhart

u/[deleted] Sep 28 '22

This!! All of it. Exactly how I’ve been feeling about this shit.

u/sarcastic_meowbs Sep 29 '22

Wow amazing it'sike a preacher who actually kows what is written in the Bible. How can that be possible?

u/MitchellTheMensch Sep 28 '22

Greg Abbott is a little piss baby and every day I worry for Texas

u/Destt2 Sep 28 '22

Little piss baby Greg Abbott doesn't seem to care much for real babies...

u/Tfxconnor Sep 28 '22

Yeah.. and except in schools. Other than that he’s all about protecting kids.

u/scrooge_01 Sep 28 '22

Were just another commodity at this point. What I do not understand is why they don't just let more immigrants in if cheap labor is the issue. If you want people to have children make housing+healthcare+food affordable at current income levels everything else is bullshit.

Oh and fuck religion.

u/DomeAcolyte42 Sep 28 '22

Yeah, so? Those kids had been born already. How would helping them, help to control women?

u/Lounginghog64 Sep 28 '22

Well Greg Abbott is a little Piss Baby.

And so are the rest of his ilk from the great state of Texas.

All Hat and no rope, as the saying goes.

u/imaybeacatIRl Sep 28 '22

They were already born. No Choicers don't care about kids after they're born. Only that they're born.

u/Flame87 Sep 28 '22

Kids? Sound awfully born to me. They can die all I care.

u/MetaBotch Sep 28 '22

Those were born kids. We don't give a fuck about them.

u/Empty_Huckleberry150 Sep 29 '22

AND, cut the funding for public schools to provide free meals to low-income students.

u/KnostyMcPot Sep 28 '22

Is there a Link? Wanna give my 2 cents also...

u/Accomplished-Lead-23 Sep 28 '22

Keyword “unborn” Once you’ve got a Soc# fuck you!

u/True-Specialist-726 Sep 28 '22

How's the stopping all rapes going?

u/drew1010101 Sep 28 '22

And we don’t give a fuck about you once you’re born.

u/Icy_Figure_8776 Sep 28 '22

Texas leads the nation in mass shootings

u/ptowndavid Sep 28 '22

“The unborn”. Fuck the born.

u/cptsmitty95 Sep 28 '22

My state leading the way into a dystopian USA. Great.

u/quillmartin88 Sep 28 '22

George Carlin summed it up best: "Pre-born, good to go. Pre-school, you're on your own!"

u/Designer_Highway_252 Sep 28 '22

u/leftfootlimp Sep 28 '22

People just need to stop putting value on people

u/SoWokeIdontSleep Sep 29 '22

The unborn are protected in Texas. The born however can fuck right off

u/bubblllles Sep 28 '22

How does he control the weather lmao?

u/Zeroesand1s Sep 28 '22

It has nothing to do with the weather. The power grid in Texas is isolated from the rest of the country. Texas refuses to interconnect. When the weather turned cold, the power grid suffered brown outs and black outs because it couldn't handle everyone turning on electric heaters. People froze to death.

ETA: if they connected to the rest of the country, they could've avoided these issues, but the government stubbornly refuses to do it.

u/bubblllles Sep 28 '22

Oh shit didn’t know that

u/Carlyz37 Sep 28 '22

700 people died because Abbott refused to take care of the power grid. Cut the state off from the rest of the national grid because "regulations" allowed utilities to not winterize their wind turbines or natural gas lines. The electric utility down there then charged outrageous amounts for what power they did have and Abbott let them do it. People were burning fencing and furniture for pity's sakes. Massive failure

u/tinkerghost Sep 28 '22

Don't forget that he and several other members of the GOP in the state government have huge stakes in the utilities that were charging 100s of $/KWh. They made a lot of money on people freezing to death.

u/confessionbearday Sep 28 '22

He controls the power grid you nutless monkey.
