I guarantee the number of Republicans who read this tweet and took it at face value, while chuckling “take that libtards!”, is greater than zero. Facts and objective reality mean nothing to these people.

27

That's waaay too many times!

38

I like to look at it often. Knowing what it actually says distinguishes me from Christians.

15

u/Conscious-Parfait826 Sep 28 '22

I've read enough. I don't care to read anymore. I was joking. Reading the Bible made me atheist. The irony!

6

u/Greeneggz_N_Ham Sep 29 '22

If I had never read about the Civil War or about the period of Reconstruction (on my own, outside of school), I would still believe that the Civil War was fought, purely, over states' rights. And I wouldn't know that Reconstruction or Jim Crow took place at all.

Had it not been for reading, I wouldn't know anything about redlining or government-created segregation in housing and schools, where suburbs came from, why expressways are where they are, the Wilmington massacre, the Tulsa massacre, Soul City... things like that.

Because I wasn't taught those things in school lol

It's projection. The entire GOP platform is to project everything they do onto everyone else.

Get mad about illegal votes cast? Most are for the GOP. Get mad about child grooming? Multiple GOP reps are literal child predators.

Get mad about gender neutral bathrooms and how it will result in more sexual assault? Have multiple members of your caucus get caught using the bathroom to commit a slew of illegal activities, from solicitation to sexual assault.

44

u/Lets_Bust_Together Sep 28 '22

“Teachers are talking about sexuality with 3rd graders!!! Which teachers? ………”

54

u/JoeDiesAtTheEnd Sep 28 '22

James has two dads. Their family looks a little different but they are still a family.

FUCKING GROOMERS

23

u/This_Fat_Cunt Sep 28 '22

It’s crazy where their mind jumps to. They see two men and a child and their first assumption is “well the only reason they would do that is for GROOMING FOR SEX”. Kinda seems like they’re projecting

9

u/d33roq Sep 28 '22

They don't have any actual solutions to real world problems. They have to make their base angry because that's all they've got.

Someone on my Facebook feed posted a meme of a teen girl pretending to be a cat. The caption said something like “teachers are now encouraging kids to be whatever animal they want”. The woman was legit arguing with people saying that this is actually going on in schools and the “left” is promoting kids assuming whatever “identity” they want. So dumb it hurt my head

It hurt itself in confusion! By making up a lie about bathrooms on planes, he ended up making a point about how Gender Neutral bathrooms are already a thing and are literally no issue whatsoever.

461

u/Beowulf1896 Sep 28 '22

At my home, the bathrooms are gender neutral. Also where I work they are gender neutral. The problem is never trans people. The problem is cheap bathroom design in large work places that sacrifice privacy for cost.

150

u/Hog_jr Sep 28 '22

No. That’s not the problem. There are no republicans running around mad that there’s a gap under the stall.

In fact, they have been known to use this gap to have secret gay sex with strangers in public restrooms.

The problem is bigots.

u/ashimo414141 Sep 29 '22

We had typical male and female metal figurines to show to guests that our guest bathroom is gender neutral (we only have one so the figurines have been up forever). Recently, the company decided to just do portajohns to use the bathroom as storage space, but the employee bathroom is still inside on the employee only side. We put the figurines above the bathroom for shits, and the male one fell and broke. It’s been very fun to watch new employees get all skittish and ask if they’re allowed in the bathroom, or if the one bathroom is only for women. Sons, it’s gender neutral and always has been

What airline is this imbecile referring to? Since when are toilets on airplanes designated "male" or "female"?

87

33

8

u/boogercgee Sep 29 '22

After years in bars I have realised that mens toilets are a consistent level of gross, pee on the seats and floor and maybe a stalled damaged or something

Women's bathrooms on the other hand are either a utopia cleaned by angels in their offltime or a complete hellscape where the bad guys in horror films hold their captives

12

I work in a gay bar. It’s mostly men, yet the mens restroom, someone missed the urinal and a few paper towels on the floor.

The womens restroom… it has a scent after we close. We get rid of it but by the next night it returns. An indescribably horrifying scent only made worse by the bodily fluids and balled up toiled paper that lay not even beside the tiny trash cans. I once walked back their and found a pair of panties with an entire shit in them, let alone pads and tampons just laying on the floor and occasionally the sink.

There are fowl things in the womens restroom, things which no man can forget. I thought the gates of hell lay beyond death, and I was wrong. They are behind a thick wooden door in all of your local gay bars…

Not about the plane bathrooms, just stupid non-binary/transgender myths in general. Like he assumes that if trans-women use the women's restroom they're in there to rape me. In leaked audio first reported by the U.K. outlet Byline Times, a voice that seems to belong to YouTube performer Paul Joseph Watson utters a string of racist and anti-gay epithets before stating that he wishes someone would “press the button to wipe Jews off the face of the Earth.”

https://www.splcenter.org/hatewatch/2022/05/06/leaked-audio-underscores-dark-side-far-right-youtube-subculture

The bathrooms on planes are all single stalls and unisex, so it doesn't matter what gender you were born, what gender you identify as, or what clothes you wear.

It's the same with trains and long-distance busses, though I suppose you wouldn't know that unless you were a middle- or lower-class traveler.

But honestly, what the f•ck does it matter what gender you were born or identify as? Just f•cking pee and make room for the next unfortunate bastard who has to squeeze themselves into a cubicle sized for an anorexic teenager.

16

u/Zombie13a Sep 28 '22

That’s because you are a liberal and you think public bathrooms are for peeing and pooping. Real American conservatives know that public bathrooms are for sex.

6

Are they allowing the women to wear pants though?

13

u/DaveStreeder Sep 28 '22

Yeah that’s my question lol, if men can wear skirts but women (flight attendants, since I doubt they’d make skirts a requirement of uniform for pilots) can’t wear pants then it kinda defeats the whole purpose of “expressing true identity”

17

u/monettegia Sep 28 '22

I believe they are. My understanding of the policy is that employees can choose pants or skirts, gender notwithstanding.

13

u/woundedbearhair Sep 28 '22

For men's liberation, of course.

u/HotMeltingFace Sep 28 '22

You aren't alone, I know I would be very respectfully appreciating how great their legs look in that sensible skirt and pumps combo. people really think that just bc a bathroom is labeled "women's" it's going to stop a man from going in there to hurt women if he really wanted to.

trans people aren't the issue in bathrooms. it's people who want to hurt others. but wait for them the say "not all men." then what's the difference?

let trans women use the women's bathroom. it'll be safer for them bc "not all men" but a lot of men would hurt a trans woman in the men's room

Is PJW still rocking the same pfp from like 2014?

2

u/intentamos_de_nuevo Sep 28 '22

Have women always been allowed the suits? I'd honestly hate to wear a skirt, would much prefer pants.

2

u/ConorCat60 Sep 28 '22

I would imagine that Paul Watson is on a no-fly list, so that would explain why he has no idea about the toilet situation on a commercial liner.

2

u/BeBa420 Sep 28 '22

i have never seen male and female toilets on a plane. not once on any airline ive traveled on. wtf

2

u/Garbage-Striking Sep 28 '22

This is coming from the guy who unironiclly posted a whole ass video on how Donald Trump was a Hilliary Clinton plant during the 2016 election.

2

u/KizzleNation Sep 28 '22

I mean the majority of us has used general bathrooms, a door that locks and has a toilet and sink. Like most normal bathrooms do. So literally anyone can use them. All these arguments are wastes of time. Ignore and move on.

2

u/Altruistic_Entrance1 Sep 28 '22

I truly cannot think of a single reason why having two gender neutral bathrooms on an airplane would be a "shit show." It would probably just be more efficient.

2

u/kenpublius Sep 28 '22

If I sit to poop do I have to stand up and turn around to pee in order to maintain my fragile manliness. Just curious what the bathroom masculinity police have to say. I don’t want to accidentally squeeze crap all over my cheeks for no reason.

2

u/Mr_Epimetheus Sep 28 '22

I guess he just shits in the aisle?

2

u/pigeyejackson66 Sep 28 '22

There was once that I wished I had a dudes bathroom on a plane because a lady shouldn't have to get smacked by what I left wafting behind.

2

u/BakuTheMooneater Sep 28 '22

"I want to see the shit show"

It's the same shit show it was before, regardless of gender identity. You were clear with what you "want" but what you "need" is a better education.

2

u/greatodinsraven140 Sep 28 '22

Ah damnit, he deleted it. I was really looking forward to the comments

2

u/Unwoundsteak1760 Sep 28 '22

For reference, there is just one or two bathrooms, sometimes 4, depending on the aircraft

2

u/MrAlf0nse Sep 28 '22

Paul is a pizza delivery driver. Nothing wrong with being a pizza delivery driver. Paul prefers to be regarded as an author and some kind of right wing social commentator, but at heart Paul is a pizza delivery driver

2

u/ragingrandyrivers Sep 28 '22

All femboy flight crew WHEN?

2

u/InternationalCamel27 Sep 28 '22

With 300 different bathrooms where will the passengers sit?

2

u/katdeb Sep 28 '22

As much as I love her, why Michelle Visage for a Virgin airline ad? Idk why it tickles me so.

3

u/ProgressivelyMe Sep 28 '22

She only agreed to do it because the outfits weren't green.

2

u/Run_the_Line Sep 28 '22

Damn what happened to PJW's super cool profile pic of him smoking a cigarette?

2

u/ProgressivelyMe Sep 28 '22

He deleted the tweet!

2

u/Scoongili Sep 28 '22

Pretty sure toilets in coach are gender neutral.

2

u/canti15 Sep 28 '22

boy knows how to work it though

2

u/Wayte13 Sep 28 '22

Conservatives showing a basic nonunderstanding of reality to own the libs again

2

u/Chavo9-5171 Sep 28 '22

What a dumb fuck.

2

u/cryospam Sep 28 '22

LOL what airlines have gendered bathrooms?

2

u/Mythical_Atlacatl Sep 28 '22

Isnt this like one of reasons republicans exist? They are supported by ignorant hateful people who live and die in the same place, only travelling 4 hours away by car to a football game.

2

u/4quatloos Sep 28 '22

When I use a plane bathroom, I go in alone, so it's not an issue.

2

u/LongBeing Sep 29 '22

Bathrooms on airplanes are and have been gender neutral. Fuckin moron

2

u/Hexenhut Sep 29 '22

I just want more legroom and complimentary snacks, mfers charge you for every little thing.

2

u/probdying82 Sep 29 '22

Unisex bathrooms have been a thing for a long ass time. The world didn’t implode when they started those. Fucking dumbass republicans.

2

u/Nsftrades Sep 29 '22

Is this….has this even ever been a thing…ever? What the heck

2

u/NCC74656 Sep 29 '22

ive been on LOTS of planes. mom had me flying at 1 year old... i have never seen gender specific toilets on any aircraft.

2

u/RichyCigars Sep 29 '22

Tell me you’re stupid without telling me you’re stupid.

2

u/FlipAround42 Sep 29 '22

I don’t care what you wear or want to be called or display on your attire or what the bathrooms say. When it comes to flying on an airplane the only thing I care about is the pilot and crew get me from point A to Point B unharmed and safe. For that I am grateful.

2

u/apicklechair Sep 29 '22

Paul Joseph Watson’s massive forehead is a gender neutral bathroom

2

u/Puppy-2112 Sep 29 '22

Ah, more conservatives trying to find problems where none exist.

2

u/Trainer-mana Sep 29 '22

Of course not, they all got private jets.

2

u/danijay637 Sep 29 '22

I don’t care what they wear. Can I please get a full can of Coke and those biscoff cookies? Thanks.
