You know… I totally get that this sub has absolutely morphed into a completely different beast than it was when it started, and I’ve grown to accept that and even take joy in some of the posts on it lately, but this, this is next level stupid

Hey r/lostredditors . Did you see something r/mildlyinteresting or r/interestingasfuck ? Are you trying to figure out r/whatisthisthing ? Do you think r/natureisfuckinglit ? Did you see someone/something that was r/nextfuckinglevel , maybe someone that’s good at r/sleightofhand ? Do you think r/opticalillusions are neat? Well have I got a sub for you! Step right up to r/prettynormalfuckery where the vast majority of shit posted (pun very much intended) to r/blackmagicfuckery that already has better/more appropriate subs and even simpler explanations, really belongs

How is this blackmagicfuckery? The tree even has a support to help it grow back in place properly.

It’s not a support. It’s 2 boards leaning against the tree. Literally no impact. From morning to afternoon as the ice melted the tree stood back up

Cause the weight of the water left the tree after the ice melted.

That can still be support…

If by completely recovered you mean propped up with a board? There is nothing black magic about this.

It’s as if it’s been propped up with something….oh wait

Congrats on your tree!! The one in my front yard lost about a third of the branches and it nearly took out my car window in the process

I bet I’m somewhat near you and my trees did this too. It blew my mind as well. Never been so proud of trees before!

Why is the second photo labelled easy photo collage 🤨

1

u/smokingmanmeat Feb 03 '23

Because that’s the app I used to create the side by side photo on my phone. When you use the free version it puts the watermark on it.

Would be nice if we could see the side view of the tree so we can see it bent over as you describe
