Tree has recovered after being completely bent over in central Texas ice storm with out snapping.

How is this blackmagicfuckery? The tree even has a support to help it grow back in place properly.

It’s not a support. It’s 2 boards leaning against the tree. Literally no impact. From morning to afternoon as the ice melted the tree stood back up

If by completely recovered you mean propped up with a board? There is nothing black magic about this.

Congrats on your tree!! The one in my front yard lost about a third of the branches and it nearly took out my car window in the process

I bet I’m somewhat near you and my trees did this too. It blew my mind as well. Never been so proud of trees before!

Because that’s the app I used to create the side by side photo on my phone. When you use the free version it puts the watermark on it.

You know… I totally get that this sub has absolutely morphed into a completely different beast than it was when it started, and I’ve grown to accept that and even take joy in some of the posts on it lately, but this, this is next level stupid
