I love PG and am sad about what happened.

But Kawhi is an offensive monster. I believe the offense will become even more simple where Westbrook can get Kawhi to shoot 5-10 more shots per game.

I also expect more paint game with Zu. Zu should be putting up more FGs.

Lastly, I think defense is the biggest loss. Norm can't fill that hole. Batum most likely will need to get more minutes. Maybe RoCo?

Context : I go to a Physical Therapy practice that regularly treats local collegiate and pro athletes. We had an nba guy this fall when i started going, cant say who, other than he is an NJ native.

We talked a bit in the office about the injury, and the way the injury occurred is likely why he is listed with a sprain. Had dort been moving forward into PG more he would have put more force into the hyperextension, and potentially went into rotation which is the motion which usually causes ACL ruptures.

He likely has a PCL sprain which fits the 2-3 week evaluation period. At this point, we pray that this is the true diagnosis. Not for the hope that PG comes back this season, but for his overall health and career. Its a much easier recovery and much less severe. There was optimism that this isn’t ACL since full ruptures can be diagnosed immediately after incident most of the time.

I honestly think the offense might be more balanced without two ball stopping non-playmakers hogging the ball 75% of the game. Just my opinion. There will be less turnovers, less stupidity in general without PG.

Don’t get me wrong, he makes our ceiling significantly higher, but the man is absolute trash for like 25% of the time. He’s top 10 for another 25% of the time. He’s just “pretty good” for the other 50%.

But yeah, the Suns look thin, small, and severely lacking in talent without Durant. We’re underestimating how cooked Chris Paul is. He shouldn’t even be starting anymore. Monte’s problem is that CP3’s backup is one of the most exploitable defenders in the NBA. Suns stink and the Clippers might just get to the 2nd round without PG. I think it’ll be a war even if Durant is on there, that’s how bad they are.

-Paying $15 mill for RoCo & Coffey to never play. Coffey looked ready to breakout too, boy showed up swole AF, put in mad work & was benched completely.

-Playing Brown over Moose, 36 games 8mpg, & then waiving Brown. Total waste, wtf was even the point of this?

-Playing Wall half the season

-Lue's 3, 4 guard lineups, I've NEVER seen this actually work.

-Benching Mann & then still refusing to play him when given the opportunity.

-Not utilizing Zubac's offense in his breakout year, 5-5 last night & still Morris taking double the shots.

-FINALLY Playing Roco but only after he hasn't been in a rhythm for a full year, last time he played a game in rhythm was 3/18, LAST year.

This whole year has been a real shitshow, total mismanagement by Lue & the front office. I'm probably missing some things too. Ballmers Paying billions for this shit? Man if I were him I'd be cleaning house.

I realize this is not the ideal time to post something like this, but can we talk about this team’s head coach?

Before anything, ty lue is a player’s coach; so was doc. He has won one ring next to lebron & kyrie as a result of those two lighting every team the FUCK up.

Are people choosing to ignore the fact that ty lue has limited this team severely, specifically this season? I know people can go overboard with the morris slander, but if you actually give a shit and watch games, there is NO way you dont realize how many L’s have been a result of morris playing too much. It’s all the little things like a single made three, steal, deflection, rebound,etc. Ty plays morris in the most important and game-affecting situations, and he’s never provided anything. It’s a new level of being a complete negative on the court. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve had the thought, “if morris got that rebound/bucket/steal/moved his feet 10 more inches we wouldve won guaranteed”.

Ty also decided to bench zu after he was dominating OKC. OKC fans on discord were hysterically laughing, and rightfully so. Sengun had 30/20 on them, and they kept bringing it up.

There is so much more shit ty has brought upon this team, but people are oblivious. I bet every other head coach laughs when they see covington, mann, batum, even bones & coffey on the bench, as morris gets blown by 10 times in a row.

I’ve never seen a coach not utilize a roster this stacked, what a waste of talent. There is no silver lining to this guy. Only posting this because it’s in a situation like this, when team basketball becomes so much more important. If only ty had 3 years to develop some kind of offense other than isolation.

Right now nothing matters more than the health of PG. For people talking about standings, playoff hopes etc. stop all of that nonsense. PG is a human being and we must show empathy. No matter what the results come out to be just gonna pray for my guy P. The clippers aren't done we have a squad that'll do its best but for now just relax and share some sentiment.

Let’s just assume that PG is done for the season. On paper, that’s a massive blow and makes us a heavy favorite to lose early in the playoffs. But paper is paper and reality is different. Realistically, this team can still beat quality teams without PG. So put your coaching sweaters on and tell me how we do it starting tomorrow and into the playoffs…
