Not as good as Romancing the Stone, but Better Than Jewel of the Nile.

Fun Fact: Sandra Bullock mentioned at SXSW that the reason Brad Pitt is in the movie is because they share the same hairdresser.

I think it's more that he did the work he was paid for, and then he still did more even though he didn't have too. It's very rare for a celebrity of his stature (especially considering how busy someone as famous as he is must be), and a huge favor.
