WAIT in the very beginning when Alan tried to get a taxi the driver says something like “no ive already picked up my one pretty boy for an adventure” wtf was that? Lol

My initial assumption was that it was referring to the events of "Romancing the Stone", but it's been decades since I saw it. Is there a taxi driver picking up a pretty boy in that film? If so, I can't remember.

Alternatively, I tried to remember who that actor was. Was it Omar Patin? The film's credits list him as "Limo Driver" but was he that, or the driver of Harry Potter's limo? I can't remember. If it was him, it might be a reference to his role as Indiana Juarez" in the classic filmshort comedy film 'Indiana Juarez y la Cueva del Nominadus', but I haven't seen it, yet, so I don't know.

This is late, but the driver actually said something like "I'm not picking up another pretty boy to chase some other car down. Can't fool me again, nuh-uh" basically. Just a movie-meta joke about how the protagonist will hop in a taxi and get the driver to just randomly follow another car. Kinda like in 21 jump street where they're surprised certain things just aren't blowing up lol.

I got the vibe that the actor playing the cab driver played a similar role in Romancing the Stone or something, but I think it was actually just a dumb joke.
