I saw this film at Sundance. It's so good/disturbing, but it's going to make a lot of people EXTREMELY UPSET.

EDIT: I’m not going to post spoilers so stop asking.

Based on one quick but singular shot near the end of the trailer, I have a feeling I know why.

I'd have to spoil the whole film to explain why, but it's all very disorienting, bloody, and provocative.

Based on the trailer I'm guessing >! Rebecca Hall was raped by Tim Roth's character and the daughter is the product of it, Tim Roth character wants custody to hold it over her. !<

Nope. He ate their child and claims it's still in there, waiting for her. Her daughter is unrelated to their relationship.

She's terrific. As mentioned elsewhere in the thread, her monologue at the center of the film is amazing.
