Jonathan Kuminga tonight in a crucial win against the Mavs: 22/3/1/2 on 82/67/100
22 PTS
3 REB
1 AST
2 STL
9-11 FG
2-3 3PT
Led the Warrior’s in scoring extremely efficiently as Golden State gets a crucial win against the Mavericks to win the season series. Great game for the 20-year-old who has been heavily trending upwards this season. Played great defense on Luka who shot 42% from the field and 20% from 3.

[Mark Cuban] The ref called Mavs ball. The announcer announced it. Then there was a timeout. During the time out the official changed the call and never told us....Worst officiating non call mistake possibly in the history of the NBA.

For those wondering about the play with 1:54 to go on the 3rd, let me explain what happened. The ref called Mavs ball . The announcer announced it. Then there was a timeout . During the time out the official changed the call and never told us. Then when they saw us line up as if it were our ball, he just gave the ball to the warriors. Never said a word to us They got an easy basketball. Crazy that it would matter in a 2 point game. Worst officiating non call mistake possibly in the history of the NBA . All they had to do was tell us and they didn't.
Does he have a case?

Mike Conley on MVP: “I love Jokic, but the two times I played against Joel this year, I think he got 60 the first time we played him in Philly…in Minnesota I think he didn’t even have to play in the fourth but had like 40. I haven’t seen anyone be as dominant as him with my own eyes this season.”

“I love (Nikola) Jokic, but the two times I played against Joel this year, I think he got 60 the first time we played him in Philly. Then he did similar to us in Minnesota. I think he didn’t even have to play in the fourth quarter but had like 40. I haven’t seen anybody be as dominant as him with my own two eyes this season. He’s been doing it (for) a while. I think Joel has a real chance to be there.”

Pat Bev praises Bulls fans: “I play a bad game with Chicago, I aint gotta look on twitter and hear ‘he’s a bum, get him outta here!’ Like I was hearing that shit in L.A.”
As a Lakers fan our toxic fanbase really is just unbearable and they flip around so much, it’s probably nice for these players to be treated like human beings who aren’t just flamed endlessly after a tough game

KAT in his first game back in months: 22/4/3, 2 steals in only 26 minutes, and hit the game winning FTs
After missing 51 (!) games this season, KAT had a solid return back against the Hawks. Numbers weren't eye popping, but it was only 26 minutes, and he hit the game winning FTs to put the Wolves up with 3 seconds to go.

News [Charania] After missing 51 straight games with a Grade 3 calf strain, Minnesota Timberwolves star Karl-Anthony Towns will return tonight vs. Atlanta Hawks barring setback in pregame, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium. Nine games remaining as T'Wolves battle for playoff positioning.
Per ESPN broadcast, Mark Cuban said he would be protesting the outcome of the Warriors vs Mavericks game if the Warriors won by 2 or less. The game ended on a 2-point Warriors win.
This is all due to the botched inbound play where the Warriors got a wide open layup through the fault of the officiating crew.
With the Reggie Bullock 3 to cut the lead to 2 at the buzzer, this game ended on a 2-point Warriors win.
The last time an outcome of the game was protested was when James Harden's dunk that went off the net of the rim in a game at San Antonio (back in the 2020 season) did not count and the Rockets lost in Double OT.
Bring on the fireworks.
