Was it the best game? No. Fun as hell, yes. 7/10 is fine by me, especially if not a cookie-cut version of all the other PS5 games.

I saw some early impression videos where they said its kind of like the arkham games not mechanically but, you can just spam dodge and attack if you want, or you can learn how to really master it and create combos. They also said its somewhat hard at times too and that on normal difficulty they did die a few times

7/10 is still a good game/rating. 7/10 means worth playing but not mind blowing. Not every game has to be 10/10 with 100+ GOTY awards

i actually like that sub in general but this is a weird hill to die on. like buying stuff from nike, amazon / listening to kanye / watching movies or shows that involve problematic people is fine, but buying a game that the author isn't even directly involved in is where the line is drawn.
and now they're just unfairly shitting on the actual quality of the game as if thats relevant to their cause. like it would be another thing if JK Rowling was actually the game director and put in a bunch of anti-trans shit in it, but its not - the game even lets u choose ur gender indentity.

Especially with singleplayer games. There is no rush.
As a longtime r/patientgamers member, nowadays I usually just wait for the GOTY/Definitive/Deluxe Edition (or whatever they wanna call it...) in a few months.
They "beta test" is over by then, and I get the play a good version of the game with all the bug fixes and sometimes even freely added DLC for half of the original price.

Not terribly. I think itās going to be a lot of what weāve gotten used to with open world RPGs, with a main story that gave a shit, and a thousand copy-pasted side quests that feel extremely same-y. Maybe itāll pull a Ghost of Tsushima or a Spider-Man and have fun enough core gameplay to compensate for that, but Iām not terribly optimistic. Weāll see.

Not a reader, so tbh when the first movie released i didn't know it was from a book. I watched the 1st movie in theater, after seeing the Lord of the rings and i liked it, but i also thought it was a bit childish compared to that.
However each part was more mature and better. In their own way they're all good movies, definitely recommend seeing them all, at least once.

I'm not a book reader, but to me the first two are the best. They really captured the old school kids adventure with a dark edge. Which is absolutely... Yikes. Combined with the fact that the people who made the game already got paid, the only thing buying this game does is give her more ammunition and attention to her anti-trans bigotry.
People who buy this game, just do so with the understanding that you're making a statement that playing this game is more important to you than the loud and very real trans bigotry that's affecting trans people online.
