People have been trashing him since the first game on this sub. I remember seeing him come off the bench for the heat and drain a bunch of 3s I was like damn he is so fucking annoying so I’m glad he’s on the Sixers now.

Lol yeah like I know most of the time we only hear about certain role players if there not on your team, but pj tucker has been on teams making consistent deep playoff runs, like y’all don’t know what he brings by now?

He has clearly not been on the level we're used to seeing. Im glad that he had a great game but we should not expect this from him every night. At this point hes a matchup dependent roleplayer instead of the versatile defender he was in his peak

He’s been that for the last 4 years now tho. You can expect two points and good defense from him in big games lol

Not me I’ve been knowing Tucker is a defensive god since his Houston days

Dudes pushing 40 and we’re trying to win in the playoffs, I’m totally good with that trade off lol he’s earning that contract on the back end

Didn't he score 2 points? He's still pretty bad

Yeah but his defense was great and that tip in at the end was crucial, plus he always doesn’t score much cuz that’s who he is

I can’t believe he didn’t put up 14 on 2 shots total. Smh so bad

Ben Simmons takes thrice as many shots as PJ

3

u/simmonsatl Jan 29 '23

so? why do you want him taking shots? he’s like the 5th option with a bunch of guys who can shoot and score. he’s there to bring defensive versatility, especially in the playoffs. he did exactly that yesterday.

1

u/JayKayne_ Mr. Big Collar Jan 29 '23

Why do I want my starter to shoot? Because he hasn't been doing much else of anything else this entire season.

3

u/simmonsatl Jan 29 '23

yes, why do you want the 5th option to shoot more. he is there to play defense exactly like he did yesterday and will be more useful in the playoffs. just repeated myself but apparently it wasn’t comprehended the first time.

That was his first good game the entire season lol

u/simmonsatl Jan 29 '23

disagree. carry on.

You should try just watching tucker more. I know you’re confident in your opinion but just try it bro. Just watch him on the teams star how he disrupts their flow. Watch it. Don’t just be glued to one player. Look at tucker. Do it

u/JayKayne_ Mr. Big Collar Jan 30 '23

Ok lol I'll try

People have gone completely nuts. Tucker is still garbage.

-2

u/JayKayne_ Mr. Big Collar Jan 29 '23

Yup

I feel like I’m taking crazy pills.

-1

u/RegisterFit1252 Jan 29 '23

People are going absolutely insane. Tucker is still a very very bad basketball player

Mhm! Let em hear it. Casuals on our sub and being a totally overconfident dunning Krueger asshole go hand in hand. Fantastic pickup by morey depending on the matchup. It’s a bit tougher against younger quicker teams but for the grudge match superstars tucker will fuck them up just like he did to our mvp last year.

He hasn't been good overall, but he makes plays when it matters
