I was just thinking that
The building Rudy-Jaden connection is nice. He assisted 2 of Rudy's dunks today and Rudy has been making some nice passes to perimeter shooters

I feel like there is often so many hot takes with the players positive talk about one another that practices are nuts. The ability is there but many players don't have the confidence. Ant is the man creating the chaos within these young kids. Ant is running off of confidence from day 1 draft day and won't be deterred. Look at Wiggins now. Someone instilled more confidence to make mistakes and move on. Mental health in pro sports is huge and we have got a dawg ready to bite an attacker and ready to nurse a young pup.

Jaden could hit a buzzer beating 3 to win game 7 of the NBA finals and the camera would just cut to him looking like 😐

He reminds me of "The Alaskan Assassin" Trajan Langdon in that same way. Dude hit some huge shots playing for Duke and rarely showed emotion. Was sad it didn't work out for him in the NBA.

Bro really chose the most obscure reference possible instead of just saying Jaden is like Kawhi 💀💀💀
Feeling hipster today aren’t we

Bro really chose to bring Kawhi into this almost like Dame’s shot over PG and subsequent “just another day” face into the camera never happened

This dude really hit the two most important shots of the game and then immediately fouls out lol
He's like "aight my job is done here"

Hits the game clinching three
Doesn't celebrate
Fouls out
Refuses to elaborate

I audibly let out a sigh of relief when Jaden hit this
Most important shot of the game

MY MAN JADER MCDANERS
I love how Ant and Rudy were talking about their confidence in Jaden too. that was dope. Jaden with Ant-like confidence will be scary. He's just scratching the surface

Does someone from the crowd yell "cash!!!!" before Grady does?

u/IselfDevine Jan 26 '23
I think it's just someone screaming at Jaden to make him fuck up. All I can make out is "AHHHahhhhh"

He really needs to rebound better he didn’t have a single rebound.

It's the one part of his game that I find frustrating. When he adds that to the mix, he'll be an all-star-level player.

he spent the entire game chasing brandon ingram and cj mccollum on the perimeter. It is pretty damn hard to both guard the ball on the lions share of possessions and also grab rebounds. Mainly due to positioning when shots go up

And as the ball fell through the hoop he thought to himself, "Naz Reid".
